My parents have given me many valuable lessons and pearls of wisdom over the years. A few have been relevant for a time but then passed me by. Yet others have stayed with me for the long haul and have proven to be helpful beyond imagining. One of them was asking Saint Anthony to recover something I have lost. Without fail, once asked, the thing has been found!
Saint Anthony is the patron saint of Padua, of Italy and of many other cities in Portugal. He is especially invoked for the recovery of lost things.
I don't subscribe to catholicism and I'm not a very religious person in general, I do however, believe that the power of asking St. Anthony is undeniable and I tell anyone who is looking for something to ask him!
